Things to Know

  • Be prepared to submit supporting documents like U.S. bank statements, cell phone bills, rent/mortgage bills, and utility bills
  • You must be 18 years or older (if under 18, you must have a legal guardian represent you)
  • You’ll need a sponsor with legal status in the U.S. who agrees to take financial responsibility if you can’t make payments (many forms of legal status count and can include a green card, EAD, TPS approval notice, and more)
