About

Our Passion & Purpose

At VíaLegal Immigration, we believe everyone deserves access to affordable legal assistance. We often see immigrants who qualify for relief but don’t apply due to high legal costs or difficulty getting legal counsel. As a non-profit, Department of Justice (DOJ) recognized immigration law firm, we can offer affordable services and ensure more people can access the legal guidance they need. We also have a simple way to book an appointment and meet with our team in just days.

Inspired by the meaning of our name “vía” — “way” in Spanish — we’ve been on a mission since 2023 to open as many doors as possible for immigrants and their families for a pathway forward. Opening just one door can create a ripple effect, shaping many lives. Our team members come from diverse backgrounds, and some were once immigrants themselves. Their experiences and passion fuel our mission—because each immigration journey truly matters to us.

Our Story

Our CEO, Wayne, wanted to make a meaningful impact on people’s lives. After leaving the corporate world and building Atulado Ministries into a successful non-profit, he searched for a way to create lasting change. Many things surfaced in his search, but immigration kept rising to the top.

Wayne immersed himself in training to become a certified volunteer, yet several organizations he approached were either at capacity or limited in how volunteers could help. Then, during a conversation with a friend, it became clear that launching a non-profit immigration firm could create meaningful change.

Sharing Wayne’s passion for impact, Wayne’s friend sought a way to blend that passion and his entrepreneurial background. He envisioned an organization driven by measurable results that could sustain its mission for future generations. By uniting their non-profit, corporate leadership, and business expertise, they launched the firm.

This partnership guided and challenged Wayne from day one, shaping the firm into a thriving practice. As the team grew, so did the vision—opening doors to serve communities in ways they had never imagined.
